Age-Defying Duo Cher and Cyndi Lauper Bring 'Dressed To Kill Tour' To Buffalo, New York. Plus This Week's Billboard Chart Positions

Singing superstar Cher took her 'Dressed To Kill Tour' to Buffalo last night - with new special guest Cyndi Lauper.

After tweeting, "Hey me here shuffling off to Buffalo to meet Cher and open on of the most fantastic tours ever", Cyndi Lauper opened for Cher at last night's Buffalo, New York concert. The 'She Bop' songstress performed the majority of her breakthrough album 'She's So Unusual', including US chart-topper 'Time After Time' and signature tune 'Girls Just Want To Have Fun', to celebrate its 30th anniversary.

Sometime after Lauper - who unbelievably is 60 years old - wrapped up her opening act with an encore of 'True Colors', fellow age-defying chart-topper Cher began her two-hour main set by humorously declaring, "Did everyone remember to take their heart medicine? 'Cause I'm on my way out."

The 67-year-old Goddess of Pop stuck to the same costumes and set-lists - beginning and ending with recent hits 'Woman's World' and 'I Hope You find It' - and back-and-forth with the audience that have remained with the critically-acclaimed tour since show number two last month.

Last night's show, at Buffalo's First Niagra Center, was the tour's first to feature Lauper as a special guest, with her having replaced Pat Benatar & Nick Geraldo - who had opened all 13 of the tour's first concerts. Lauper - who was the special guest of the majority of Cher's 1999-2000 'Do You Believe? Tour' and 2002-2005's 'Farewell Tour' - will remain the special guest of the 'Dressed To Kill Tour' until at least the end of its first leg in July.

The next 'Dressed To Kill Tour' show will be at Montreal, Canada's Bell Centre tomorrow night.

  1. DAMN BILLBOARD CHARTS,, they have crap on the top 200 that dont belong on it,,movie sounds track etc, that should have its own category,, she'll be back on it again

  2. The Billboard Top 200 is also full of very old and very discounted albums and also digital only albums. Its like every episode of the show Glee gets its own downloadable album. It is so silly. They chart a week or so then go bye bye. Old catalog albums had their own charts for years. Actually they still do but are also on the Billboard Top 200 now as well. 20 weeks and counting is a lot in this era so Cher should be proud.
