Singing superstar Cher will appear on 'Watch What Happens Live' on Thursday 27 June.

Andy Cohen, the host of the nightly live talk show 'Watch What Happens Live' on cable television network Bravo, tweeted that the 67-year-old 'Woman's World' singer will appear live on the show on Thursday night!

Cohen, who is also the Executive Vice President of Original Programming and Development at Bravo, wrote to his 1.1 million followers on Twitter, "You heard me!! @cher LIVE Thursday night! #wwhl"

Cher herself retweeted the aforementioned tweet alongside another on the subject by Bravo, "This. Is. HUGE. @BravoAndy just announced that the one and only @cher will be live in the clubhouse on Thursday for #WWHL!!!"`

Cher's appearance on the show will be on the same day as her appearance at the Grand Opening of Gay Pride Weekend in New York.

The next day, 28 June, Cher will attend an exclusive "Town Hall" event hosted by 'SiriusXM', where she'll be answering questions about her new album 'Closer To The Truth' and career, and where she'll have a meet-and-greet with a lucky competition winner. The 'SiriusXM' website reads, "SiriusXM wants to give you and a guest the chance to attend a special invitation-only 'Town Hall' event with Cher to celebrate the release of 'Woman's World' - the first single from her upcoming and highly-anticipated new studio album of the same name.

This exclusive event will take place on Friday, June 28 at the SiriusXM Studios in New York City. The 'Town Hall' will feature Cher answering questions about her new album and legendary career from an intimate studio audience of SiriusXM listeners. To qualify, we're asking SiriusXM subscribers to submit their most creative questions about Cher for a chance to ask their question to them in person at the Town Hall. The winners and their guests will also have the opportunity to attend an exclusive meet-and-greet at the SiriusXM Studios immediately following the vent, where they will have their picture taken with Cher."

Moving on... The 'Just Like Jesse James' singer took to Twitter to tweet about a '30 minute musical' rendition of 1990's blockbuster 'Independence Day', starring her son Chaz.

She typed, "I just came home from seeing '30 minute musical' version of 'Independence Day' - Oh my God! They are great! Los Angeles, Celebration Theatre. Do yourself a favour and go! I laughed and clapped until I was hoarse and my hands were red! Chaz is in it and great but that's not the reson I'm saying to go... It's so creative. The actors are amazing and speaking of amazing, Chaz was great and I'm not just mom talking, I'm actor".

  1. Great post Daniel. I think it is nice Cher is now out and about more and more. Years ago, long before you were born, Cher was out and about all the time. We constantly saw photos of her and hear about her going to things and having a ball. Nice to see Chaz spreading his wings too! His show sounds fun!
