Cher has purchased a house in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles.

The 67-year-old chart-topping superstar has kept her estate agent very busy this year; following the sales of her Hollywood Condo and Venice pad just months ago, Cher has bought a new house in Beverly Hills.

Cher paid $2,145,355 for the house, which contains 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The 90210-postcode crib that she secured for herself or a loved one on 9 July is a secure one; it is located at the end of a private drive and fully gated with 25,000 square feet of land.

Cher's current single 'Woman's World' has reached the top ten of Billboard's Hot Dance Club Songs chart.

Cher's 'Woman's World' has clearly had hordes of club-goers getting down on the club-floor this week as it has climbed to number 9 on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Songs chart.

For the second week in a row, the single was dubbed as the "greatest gainer" on the chart - jumping from number 26 last week to number 9 this week.

Most of Billboard's charts were updated today, and Cher's new single 'Woman's World' has risen up both of the music publication's Dance/Electronic Songs charts.

Released on 18 June, the single debuted on Billboard's Dance/Electronic Songs chart (based on sales, airplay, club play and streaming) at number 16 and fell to number 35 the following week. Thanks to a dazzling performance of the dance track on NBC's 'Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular', the song this week has climbed back up the chart, to number 21.

Donned in black with a flash of silver, the Grammy Award-winner performed the dance tune backed with a bunch of female dancers.

This month marks the 50th anniversary of Cher's place in the music business.

Way back in July 1963, a black-haired 17-year-old girl called Cherilyn - and nicknamed Cher - set foot behind a microphone in Phil Spector's now-iconic Gold Star Recording Studios in Hollywood to sing back-up alongside members of The Blossoms and The Ronettes on 'Be My baby' by the latter group. Also on backing vocals was Sonny Bono - Cher's boyfriend at the time who had began his recording career the decade before and was already a backing singer for Spector.

Cher, who's known for sporting quite a selection of saucy outfits during her career jumped to the reality star's defense by replying, "But she's quite beautiful and I see nothing wrong with the dress! I don't know her as a person, I've never seen her show".
