Cher's New Album To Be Released At Christmas?
Cher fans have been waiting for a new album for a decade, but the 65-year-old superstar has finally stated that her new album may see a release later this year!
Cher has kept fans up-to-date on Twitter about her new album for a long time now. We already know that she has been recording new tracks for the album, one of which is a duet with Lady Gaga. However, the star has finally told us when to expect a release.
In a tweet earlier, the "Believe" hit-maker stated that a Christmas release of the album is likely;
"Ok Lovelies bout Me'n GaGa ! think cd's out Xmas & LOVE "GREATEST THING " Think probably b 1st single ! Think GAGA's doin some duets 2"
Eagle-eyed viewers may have also spotted that she declared "The Greatest Thing" as the first possible single. Just in case you have been hiding in a cave for the past month or so, I will reveal that this track is the duet with Lady Gaga. Cher tweeted about the track just two days ago;
"Btw, duet w ladygaga is SO great. Know u guys'll like it."
Cher has not released a solo studio album since 2001's "Living Proof" but she did feature on the soundtrack album of the film "Burlesque" late last year, alongside Christina Aguilera. That album reached the top twenty on the US Billboard 200.
