Cher's 'Dressed To Kill Tour' Postponed To December!

Cher on her 'Dressed To Kill Tour'Cher planned to begin the second leg of her current 'Dressed To Kill Tour' on 11 September of this year. However, after being struck with an "acute viral illness", the singer-actress was forced to postpone it to 9 November.

Just yesterday, 'Cher News' reported that a spokesperson for the chart-topping singer revealed that Cher was "healthy and has beaten the viral infection" and that she "will 100 percent continue her tour beginning Nov. 9."

However, just days before the planned 9 November return of the tour, it has since been announced that the tour's second leg has been postponed once again as doctors have advised the 'I Walk Alone' singer to rest for a few more weeks.

The following shows have been postponed, and it now seems that the 'Dressed To Kill Tour' will resume with its second leg on 2 December:

Nov. 9 – Lubbock, Texas, United Supermarkets Arena
Nov. 11 – Austin, Texas, Frank Erwin Center
Nov. 13 – Corpus Christi, Texas, American Bank Center
Nov. 15 – Bossier City, La., CenturyLink Center
Nov. 17 – Pensacola, Fla., Pensacola Bay Center
Nov. 19 – North Charleston, S.C., North Charleston Coliseum
Nov. 21 – Richmond, Va., Richmond Coliseum
Nov. 23 – Auburn Hills, Mich., The Palace Of Auburn Hills

Tickets will be honored for any rescheduled dates, or refunds are available at the point of purchase.

Cher, uncharacteristically, has been away from social networking site Twitter for a week.

  4. I was 3 or 4 years old when my Mom and Aunt took me to see Cher. In the weeks prior to the concert, I remember my Mom playing Cher and Cyndi Lauper CD's more than usual to prepare me for a good time. And Though I don't recall the entire show, I remember the elephant. I remember Cyndi had a broken ankle. But most of all I remember the Cher dollar that fell from the ceiling at the end of the concert. It's been 10 or so years since....and a month ago my Aunt mailed me the new Cher CD and my Mom bought us tickets. So, Cher please please take care of yourself....take all the time you need to get healthy.....we will see you in North Charleston, South Carolina!
