Cher's former Bentley is being auctioned by "ultimate Hollywood insider" Arnie Klein. A 2005 Bentley continental, formally owned by international superstar Cher, will be auctioned in Los Angeles by noted Beverly Hills dermatologist Arnie Klein. The flashy vehicle, estimated to fetch between $80,000 to $120,000, sports "CHERZGT" vanity plates.
Klein is a friend of the stars, which is apparent in his upcoming Bonham's auction collection; items such as a black fedora owned by Michael Jackson, cufflinks owned by Elizabeth Taylor and a harmonica used by Bob Dylan are amongst several that are estimated to fetch a grand total of $700,000, with Cher's former Bentley being the star piece.
Klein was Michael Jackson's dermatologist from 1985 onward. He estimated in 2002 that he had administered Botox injections to 90,000 people, including Cher, Carrie Fisher, Elizabeth Taylor and Dolly Parton. The once high-flying dermatologist is said to have fallen on hard times as of late; he filed for bankruptcy last January according to Los Angeles court records
The auction will be run by Bonhams in Los Angeles on 23 January.
