Fans of multi-talented entertainer Cher may have been a little confused over the last few days (me included!) as Cher announced a contest on Facebook where the winning fan is to be transported over to Malibu to watch the filming of her 22 January 'Woman's World' music video. An auction was also announced where the highest-bidder (who must be female) is to watch the filming, plus have a walk-on role in the video.
Now, we weren't expecting any of this - we were expecting a contest on Twitter where Cher would randomly pick 6 users on the site who would be transported to the filming and have a meet-and-greet with Cher. It looked, for quite a while, as if the two aforementioned contests had replaced the Twitter one. Luckily, that's not the case - as we now know thanks to Cher's tweets.
Plus, not only is the Twitter contest still to happen - but the number of fans who will get to meet Cher and watch the video-shoot has rose to seven!
She tweeted, "Hi! The seven (OK! I said it was going to be 5 or 6 but call me crazy - it's more) lovelies will be announced at 3 [L.A. time]! Thank God!"
To clarify, she wrote, "OK, 7 are from Twitter! 1 is from contest! 1 is from auction!"
In Los Angeles, 3PM today is within the next hour!
