This promises to be a big year for entertainment legend Cher: her starring role in Mamma Mia 2; a Broadway musical to come out later this year based on her life; and a tour spanning the US and Australia. Cher is more active than ever. But now we also know there’s new Cher music in the works...
On her Twitter account, Cher wrote: “’Im tired & still have to study song 4 tomm.” Publication HORNET reports that when they saw that tweet, they assumed she was referencing her tour or Mamma Mia 2. But then another tweet she sent out indicates it’s something even bigger in the works: new Cher music.

Sonny & Cher's Final Album To Be Released On CD For The First Time!
Many Cher fans have never heard the likes of 'I Believe in You', 'Rhythm of Your Heart Beat' and 'Listen to the Music' from Sonny & Cher's final studio album 'Mama Was a Rock and Roll Singer, Papa Used to Write All Her Songs' — after all, the LP peaked at just #132 on the US Billboard 200 way back in 1974 and quickly faded away.
The album contains the pair's take on 'I Can See Clearly Now' (originally by Johnny Nash) and 'Brother Love's Traveling Salvation Show' (Neil Diamond), both of which the husband-and-wife team performed regularly in their live shows and on the hugely successful 'The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour'. The album also contains Cher's solo hidden gem 'By Love I Mean'.
