'Honky Tonk Woman', an album by Cher's mother Georgia Holt, will be released on April 30.Cher took to Twitter just hours ago to write, "Mom's CD will be on iTunes on the 30th! The TV special 'Dear Mom, Love Cher' will be on Lifetime on May 6 at 10PM. Mom is so excited! A dream come true!"
Fans who are wanting a physical copy of the upcoming country album need not worry, Cher tweeted, "Mom has hard copy CD on Amazon!"
As we already know, Cher and Georgia will be on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' on 1 May - what we didn't know was that Cher's sister Georganne will also appear too. But there's more! On the show, Cher and Georgia will perform the duet that they have together on the album! Cher tweeted, "Mom, me, Gee will be on 'Ellen', and sing the duet."
