Cher's North American 'Dressed To Kill Tour', which began in March, was a major success - Pollstar named it the top female tour of 2014 by mid-year.
However, from September-onward, Cher was forced to postpone the tour several times due to having an acute viral illness that affected her kidney function.
Her rep told fans earlier this month that the singer was "healthy" and had "beaten the illness" and thus would return to the stage during November though the tour was postponed once more to December as Cher's doctors advised her to rest.

Cher's 'Dressed To Kill Tour' Postponed To December!
Cher planned to begin the second leg of her current 'Dressed To Kill Tour' on 11 September of this year. However, after being struck with an "acute viral illness", the singer-actress was forced to postpone it to 9 November.
Just yesterday, 'Cher News' reported that a spokesperson for the chart-topping singer revealed that Cher was "healthy and has beaten the viral infection" and that she "will 100 percent continue her tour beginning Nov. 9."
However, just days before the planned 9 November return of the tour, it has since been announced that the tour's second leg has been postponed once again as doctors have advised the 'I Walk Alone' singer to rest for a few more weeks.

Cher's Rep: She Is Healthy And Has Beaten The Viral Infection
Cher will resume her massively-successful 'Dressed To Kill Tour' on 9 November after halting it for two months due to an "acute viral infection".
A "longtime friend" of the 'Half Breed' singer told 'Closer Weekly' that "the viral infection she contracted scared everyone". They added that the infection "primarily infected her kidneys" but also "played havoc with her entire body. It's been very scary to her."
The friend also told the publication that Cher wore a heart monitor "as a precautionary measure. They want to be absolutely certain her heart is OK and the lining hasn't been affected by the acute viral infection. They are not leaving anything to chance."
